I am currently studying for a PhD in Psychology at Sussex University. I am investigating the development of language in infants, particularly relating to colour terms. I have recently completed an MSc in Psychological Research Methods at the University of Bristol, where I also completed my BSc in Experimental Psychology.
I have worked as a research assistant with the Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group (TARG) at Bristol University in summer 2011 and received a scholarship from the Nuffield Foundation to investigate perceptions of attractiveness following alcohol consumption.
I am particularly interested in science communication and widening science participation. I aspire to follow a career in academia and will look to take a position as a post-doctorate following my PhD.
